Italy Tour P11 – I laghi Maggiore e d’Orta – identifica tre pacchetti che hanno in comune l’itinerario, ma si differenziano per la ubicazione dell’albergo e quindi anche per il prezzo. I tre pacchetti sono destinati a chi, although they have little time, non vuole perdersi l’occasione di importanti esperienze turistiche in località non lontane da Milano.

Basic program (3 days, 2 nights)
1Day – Arrival at Malpensa or stations Novara Train , transfer and hotel accommodation (Novara o ad Armeno the Lago Maggiore) Free time to rest or visit of the hotel. Dinner and overnight

2Day – After breakfast, excursion to lakes and hills subalpine with private transport. Once in Stresa, the "pearl" of Lake Maggiore, you will walk in the promenade and in the center of this resort, one of the oldest and most famous in the world where you can admire some great testimony of the "Belle Epoque" and taste its traditional "daisies" and then embark on a guided tour of the Borromeo Islands
Beautiful island you can visit the sumptuous Palazzo Borromeo, Baroque , with twenty rooms visited that retain original furnishings and priceless works of art; is its beautiful Italian garden the garden at 'Italian, consists of ten overlapping terraces and embellished by fountains, statues and architectural perspectives. The Island Fishermen, a typical village characterized by a small square surrounded by narrow winding streets; it was the first to be inhabited right from 'pre-Roman. We will visit the church of San Vittore dates back to the early Middle Ages. The Island mother finally offers a botanical garden English that covers almost the entire; also birds such as white peacocks and pheasants make the place even more special..
After lunch, with a typical menu, Stresa is left and up the Vergante you reach the Mottarone, which marks the watershed between Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta and finally descending to the lake and visit Orta San Giulio.
Before returning to the hotel we will cross the hills subalpine and you will make a stop to the cellars of the Consortium of the Upper Piedmont Nebbiolo Wines. Dinner and overnight

Program Extension 1 (4 days, 3 nights)

3Day – After breakfast , transfer to Milan and city tour (vedi programma LO1). Return by the same means to the hotel for overnight.

4Day – After breakfast, End of services

Program with Extension 2 (4 days, 3 nights)

3Day – After breakfast, Excursion with private transport in the cities and countryside of the plain rice . It will go from Novara (with the Broletto and Basilica of San Gaudenzio and Roman remains), near which we will visit a production of gorgonzola , and then from Vercelli, where you visterà the magnificent Basilica of St. Andrew and the vast cloister of the monastery (1219-1227). This church is one of the first examples of Gothic architecture in Italy inspired by the model of the Cistercians with elements still Romanesque. We will proceed to the plain of rice "grange" , with a visit to a farm from rice.

4° day – After breakfast, End of services

Program with Extension 3 ( 5 days, 4 nights) = Extension 1 +2,

3Day – After breakfast , transfer to Milan and city tour (vedi programma LO1). Return by the same means to the hotel for overnight.

4Day – After breakfast excursion in the cities and countryside of the plain rice .
